What a wonderful work of a plane.  I just can't imagine what those early pioneers of aviation what they where thinking when they went up in such primitive aircraft, but I am sure that many of them must have soiled themselves while in them.

Wow! When was this plane built, after the Wright brothers flight?

She is not an original so she is not as old as that. The orignal Bristol Boxkite however first flew in 1910 so not too long after the Wright Brother's flight in 1903.

This aircraft was built in the 1960s for the film "Those magnificent men in their flying machines" So although she is not original she is historic in her own right and it is always a pleasure to see her fly.

You know seeing these beautiful machines fly on a beautiful summers evening. Who needs Waddington and the loud jets. :D
