Royal Air Force Museum Hendon.
In preparation for the Centenary of the Royal Air Force in 2018, the Royal Air Force Museum is in the process of carrying out inspections of their collection. As such on my visit back in February some dismantling of aircraft had occurred. This gave me the interesting opportunity to see some of the inner workings of a couple of their aircraft. This is the collection's Messerschmitt BF-109 E-3 with her cowlings removed revealing her Daimler Benz DB-601.
