I remember a friend of mine had bought a plastic model of this aircraft from long ago. When he had finished it, I thought it looked pregnant and said so. The write-up in the instructions said that English Electric believed that if one engine was kaput the other would not veer the center of thrust out of alignment with the rest of the aircraft. Smart!
One of the all time coolest.
I think that this was in a batch sold to Saudi Arabia back in the 60s.
