I think many of my watchers will be aware of the fate of this particular aircraft. But with the accident report now out, citing pilot error as the main factor, and eighteen months now passed, I think we can start to remember again what a beautiful machine she was. I hope the industry can now move on from this dark time and that lessons will have been learned. Airshow safety rules are not simply to spoil the fun, they are there for a reason and unless they are upheld to the highest degree, accidents can and will happen.
