Sopwith Pup (Original)

The Shuttleworth Collection's Sopwith Pup flying over Old Warden back in 2013. At the time she was the sole original example of her type airworthy. However late last year this changed, as a second example took to the air once more after restoration. Though belonging to a private owner, the new Pup is to be operated by the Historic Aircraft Collection at Imperial War Museum Duxford, and with the recent resurgence of flyable Sopwith types in the UK, Two Sopwith Pups, Sopwith Triplane, Sopwith 7F.1 Snipe, the return of the Sopwith Dove to Old Warden and of course Shuttleworth's soon to fly Sopwith Camel. I am hoping that at some point soon we can see them all together for the first time.
